Personalised care is about making sure every person has the support, information and choice they need to live well and manage their health in a way that works for them. It recognises that people are experts in their own lives, and that good health and wellbeing depend on more than medical treatment alone.
Across the NHS, personalised care is becoming a core part of how we work. It means moving away from a “onesizefitsall” approach and instead focusing on what matters most to each individual—giving people a more active role in decisions about their care and support.
